Your Agoura Hills Fire Safe Council had a booth at Fire Service Day 2024, held at the Canwood Fire Station 89 on May 11. The event was very well attended, and included apparatus and equipment, along with demonstrations, a helicopter flyover and vehicle extrication.
A large part of what we do is resident education on fire prevention, so it was great to be out in the community informing you of important home-hardening and defensible space initiatives you can do to your homes.
We also wish to thank Council Member, Deborah Klein Lopez, Council Member Jeremy Wolf, and City Manager, Nathan Hamburger, for stopping by our booth and supporting what we do.
At the booth, residents signed up to be a part of the seven Firewise Communities currently forming in Agoura Hills.
Please contact us, to find out more about Firewise Communities forming in your neighborhood.
Come visit us at the “Be Prepared Safety Fair,” hosted by the Office of Supervisor Horvath and Office of Assemblymember on June 8th from 10:00am-1:00pm at the Calabasas Community Center.
We hope to see you there.
L-R: City Manager, Nathan Hamburger, Council Member Jeremy Wolf, and Council Member, Deborah Klein Lopez stop by the AHFSC Booth.
