If you live in one of these communities you can now download your updated Firewise Certificates:

- Lake Lindero
- Liberty Canyon
- Malibou Lake/Lakeside
- Medea Valley Estates
- Morrison Ranch
- Oak View Ranch
- Old Agoura
- Peacock Ridge
- Reyes Adobe
In 2022, the California Department of Insurance enacted “Safer from Wildfires,” requiring insurance companies to recognize Firewise USA® designated communities by providing discounts to property owners in those communities.
The 2026-2027 Firewise Renewals have been updated.
If your community is in “good standing,” you can download your community’s 2026-2027 Firewise Certificate TODAY.
Certificates with 2026 on top are good until the end of 2027.
After completing the form, you can download a PDF of your community’s certificate immediately. You will also receive an email with your certificate and a map showing the boundaries of your Firewise Firewise Community—this is required by some insurance companies.
You can then send your community’s certificate to your insurance company to see what discount they offer.
Note: Only Firewise Communities in “good standing” can download their certificate. If you live in a Firewise Community and you are unable to see the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the Certificate Download Form, it is possible that your community is still in the process of renewing its Firewise recognition or that your community is not a recognized Firewise Community.
