The Santa Monica Mountains Fire Safe Council is hosting its First Annual Wildfire Prevention Extravaganza!!!
They will be hosting a home and garden tour with a focus on home hardening and fire resistant native plants. There will also be fun activities for the family including screen printing, games, a guided nature hike, and more.
There will be snacks and water provided, but we highly recommend bringing a picnic or your own lunch!

Malibu Forestry Unit on Las Virgenes Road (no parking available)
Attendees will park at Calabasas Community Center and be shuttled to the Malibu Forestry Unit. This is to ensure they can provide safe parking and transportation to and from the event. The shuttle will pick up attendees at the Calabasas Community Center at 10:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. and drop them back at their cars by 2:30 p.m.
Please be on time, the shuttle will not wait.
