Fountainwood Event
On May 1, 2025, Fountainwood HOA held a well-attended and very successful event in Sumac Park.
The Agoura Hills Fire Safe Council was invited to attended where we answered home hardening questions from concerned residents.
We want to thank the new Board of the Fountainwood HOA for the invitation and opportunity to engage with Fountainwood residents.
We want to thank City of Agoura Hills Councilmember, Kate Anderson (above photo), for attending the event, and for always taking the time to speak with residents.
City of Agoura Hills
We wish to thank the City of Agoura Hills, Councilmembers, and staff for their continued support of the efforts of the Agoura Hills Fire Safe Council.
The City Council approved $50,000 in the 2025-26 General Fund Budget for a Wildfire Prevention and Home Hardening Program that includes funding to be utilized in a collaborative program with the Agoura Hills Fire Safe Council.
Important Firewise Announcement
To maintain our Agoura Hills Firewise communities’ status, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requires residents and communities to actively record their Firewise Activities. (https://agourahillsfsc.org/submit-volunteer-activity/)
In November of each year, the Agoura Hills Fire Safe Council and the Firewise Community Leaders must submit a breakdown of each Firewise Community’s completed activities. In order to do this, we need you to complete the quick and easy-to-fill-out online form. We will begin emailing out reminders each month to complete the online Firewise Activities Form.
Thank you for helping to make Agoura Hills a safer community.
Congratulations Old Agoura
Old Agoura has been recognized as a Firewise USA Community by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Over 75% of Agoura Hills residences now fall within a Firewise community.
